Harold McGurl, 43, is a suspect in a Saturday morning stabbing that took place around 1:00am in the 1200-1400 Block of 1200-1400 blocks of Spruce Street, in Ashland. The victim was reported to have suffered severe lacerations.
During an investigation, McGurl was identified as the person who attacked the victim.
After McGurl was last seen in the borough not long after the incident police began a search and McGurl was taken into custody later Saturday.
McGurl was arraigned locked up in Schuylkill County Prison on Attempted Homicide Charges.
