Two Injured in Crash in Mall Parking Lot on Wednesday

Two people were injured in a 3 vehicle crash on Wednesday in a mall parking lot.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, a crash occurred midday Wednesday when vehicle driven by Julie Charlton, 69, of Ringtown was traveling south through the parking lot at the Fairlane Village Mall, Norwegian Township. 

Another vehicle driven by Chad Strohl, 26, of Ringtown, was traveling west through the parking lot at the Fairlane Village Mall at the same time. 

Police say Charlton was traveling south through the parking lot and struck Strohl's vehicle as it was traveling west in the aisle (towards Boscov's Department Store). The front end of Charlton's vehicle struck the right side of Strohl's. After impact with Strohl spun in a clockwise direction for approx. 30 ft. and came to final rest facing northeast in the parking lot. 

After impact with Charlton continued in a southwest direction for approx. 30 ft through the parking lot and struck a parked School Bus. The front end of Charlton's vehicle struck the left side of  the bus and became wedged under it. 

Both Charlton and Strohl suffered minor injuries in the crash.
