Thieves Strike Fire Company After Fundraiser

Over the weekend, thieves hit a fire company in Branch Township just days after their big fundraiser.

According to reports, the Good Intent Fire Company, Llewellyn, near Minersville was broken into some time over the weekend.

Thieves broke into, trashed the place, and stole DVR equipment and money that the department had inside.

The incident happened just days after the fire company raised thousands of dollars during their annual Poker ATV Run this weekend.  Money from the fundraiser was not part of the money stolen.

Anyone with information on the incident should contact police.

A GoFundMe Page has also been created if you would like to donate at https://www.gofundme.com/goodintent

Children in Minersville were also selling lemonade on Tuesday afternoon.  Half of the money they earned will be going to the Good Intent Fire Company.
