Shenandoah Woman Pronounced Dead at Scene of Crash in Northumberland County

A Shenandoah woman was pronounced dead at the scene of a crash Wednesday evening in Northumberland County.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Stonington, the crash occurred around 5:40pm on Snydertown Road near Anthracite Road, in Shamokin Township, between Sunbury and Elysburg.

Police say that the vehicle involved in the crash rolled multiple times and came to a rest on it's roof in a wooded area.

The crash was labeled "Fatal" but at the time of their press release, did not provide victim information.

On Friday afternoon, Northumberland County Coroner James Kelley announced that Kaylee V. Pukiewicz, 21, of Shenandoah died at the scene of the accident as a result of blunt force trauma to the head.
