Man Arrested After Threatening and Assaulting Mother

A Valley View man was arrested after reportedly threatening and assaulting his mother.
According to Hegins Township Police, on Thursday, May 10, 2018, Hegins Township Police arrested Adam Lamar Bloch, 26, of Valley View for robbery, theft by unlawful taking, simple assault and harassment.

Patrolman Applegate filed the charges against Bloch after receiving a report from Bloch’s mother that Bloch assaulted her, threatened her, and demanded the keys to her Jeep. It was reported to police that the victim told Bloch that he could not have the keys to the vehicle. Bloch began smashing items inside of the residence before finding the keys to the Jeep. The victim reported that Bloch told her that if she called the police he would smash the vehicle. Bloch drove away in the Jeep.

Patrolman Applegate later apprehended Bloch and placed him into custody without incident. 

Bloch was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Rossi and locked up in Schuylkill County Prison unable to post $40,000 bail.
