Three Face Drug Charges After Heroin was Found During a Traffic Stop Last Month

Three drug charges after a traffic stop in Mahanoy City last month where drugs were found.

According to Mahanoy City Police on April 18, 2018, around 11:00pm, Officer Jonathan McHugh of the Mahanoy City Police Department arrested three individuals after a traffic stop in the 700 Block of West Centre Street.

Crystal Wentworth, age 31 of Shenandoah was charged with Unlawful possession of a controlled substance (Heroin), possession of drug paraphernalia, and several traffic violations.

Patricia Kowker-Bloss, age 47 of Gilberton was charged with Unlawful possession of a controlled substance (Heroin), Unlawful possession of a controlled substance (Heroin), and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Paul Williams, 33,  of Scranton was charged with Unlawful possession of a controlled substance (Heroin), Unlawful possession of a controlled substance (Heroin), and possession of drug paraphernalia.

All three individuals will have a preliminary hearing scheduled by Magisterial District Judge Anthony Kilker in the near future.
