On Friday evening, Hegins Township Police were able to take a man into custody that was wanted on a bench warrant since 2014.
According to Hegins Township Police, Patrolman Applegate and Patrolman Thompson served a Schuylkill County bench warrant that has been active since 2014 on Karol Franzyshen, 25, of Shamokin.
Franzyshen was taken into custody Friday evening at the Redner’s parking lot in Hegins, and he was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.
Additional charges against Franzyshen will be filed.
