Schuylkill County Visitors’ Bureau Recognizes Excellence in Service 

The Schuylkill County Visitor’s Bureau honored two board members for their lengthy tenure of dedicated service to Schuylkill County’s tourism industry as they prepare to transition onto the SCVB Senior Advisory Board.

Board members and local officials gathered on Tuesday July 31st at The Crimson House, Pottsville.

Joan Goodman, Innkeeper of The Kaier Mansion Bed & Breakfast, Mahanoy City, and Jerry Enders, owner of Jerry’s Classic Cars & Collectibles Museum, Pottsville, have served on the SCVB board of directors for 28 and 16 years respectively.

"Their ability and willingness to provide tourism industry sustainability by further cementing their long-term experience, competence, supervision, excellence, and leadership of the organization through their continued voluntary senior advisory board service is invaluable to Schuylkill County tourism." was stated in a press release.

Senator David Argall issued PA Senate Certificates of Achievement as did Representative Michael Tobash from the PA House of Representatives. The Schuylkill County Commissioners issued proclamations as well.
