No Injuries Reported in One-Vehicle Crash in Union Township Thursday Afternoon

No injuries were reported in a one-vehicle crash in Union Township Thursday afternoon.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, the crash occurred around 3:30pm on Thursday, September 13, 2018 on Ringtown Boulevard about 1/4 mile west of Route 924.

Police say Sandra Kline, 54, of Mahanoy City was travelling on Ringtown Boulevard when she crested top of the mountain in the area of the windmill farm entrance and was negotiating a curve.

For an undetermined reason, Kline traveled onto the right side of the berm, across entrance to the windmill farm, through a grassy/rocky area along the road, then veered back toward the roadway where she struck and unearthed a guide rail.

Kline and two other passengers in the vehicle were wearing their seat belts and were not injured.  The Jeep required towing from the scene.
