State Police Investigating a String of Burglaries in the Ringtown Valley

The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a string of burglaries in the Ringtown Valley.


According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, over the past few months several burglaries were reported in the Ringtown, Union Township, and East Union Township area.

After an investigation, a search warrant was obtained and on September 26, 2018, the warrant was executed at 21 Iron Street, East Union Township in reference to the stolen items.

Numerous items were confiscated to include outdoor power equipment and hand tools.  One of the stolen items matched an item stolen from a Union Township Burglary.

The Pennsylvania State Police charged Michael Jevelle, 31, of East Union Township with a felony charge of receiving stolen property and criminal use of a communication facility.

The State Police are asking anyone with any stolen  items from their property in the Ringtown Valley area that has not reported them to police to contact Trooper Joseph W. Hall at the Frackville station  at (570) 874-5300 and reference PA2018-1104822.
