Meth and Firearms Seized During Search Friday

A Port Clinton man is locked up in Schuylkill County Prison on drug and firearms charges.

According to the Schuylkill County District Attorney's Office, on January 18, 2019, members of the Schuylkill County District Attorney’s Office, Drug Task Force, Pennsylvania State Police, and Orwigsburg Police Department, executed a search and seizure warrant on a residence located within the Borough of Port Clinton. 

Items of contraband were subsequently seized from the aforementioned, including, but not limited to, the following:

 - Approximately thirty-seven grams (37.0 g) of methamphetamine with an estimated street value of $3,700.00
 - Seven firearms
 - $1,300.00 of United States Currency

As a result of the aforementioned searches, Mark Allen Lischak, 59, was charged with violations of the Controlled Substance, Drug, Device and Cosmetic Act and Pennsylvania Crimes Code and charged with Possession With the Intent to Deliver (methamphetamine), Possession of a Controlled Substance (methamphetamine), Persons Not to Possess/Use/Manufacture, Control, Sell, Transfer Firearms, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Lischak was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge, the Honorable James R. Ferrier, Orwigsburg, who set bail at $30,000.00, straight cash. Lischak was subsequently remanded to the Schuylkill County Prison unable to post bail.
