Over $46,000 Worth of Meth and Cocaine Seized during Search and Seizure Warrant in Cass Township

On Friday, February 8, 2019, members of the Schuylkill County District Attorney’s Office, Drug Task Force, Pennsylvania State Police, Butler Township Police Department and Frackville Borough Police Department, executed a search and seizure warrant on a residence located within Cass Township.

Items of contraband were subsequently seized from the aforementioned, including, but not limited to, the following:
 - Approximately four hundred sixty grams of methamphetamine with an estimated street value of $46,000.00
 - Approximately four grams of cocaine with an estimated street value of $400.00
 - One  firearm

Items of drug paraphernalia utilized for the packaging, repackaging and ingestion of controlled substances

As a result of the searches, Carl Johnson, 46, was charged with violations of the Controlled Substance, Drug, Device and Cosmetic Act and Pennsylvania Crimes Code as follows:  Possession With the Intent to Deliver (methamphetamine), Possession With the Intent to Deliver (cocaine),
Possession of a Controlled Substance (methamphetamine), Possession of a Controlled Substance (cocaine), Persons Not to Possess/Use/Manufacture, Control, Sell, Transfer Firearms, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Johnson was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge, the Honorable Anthony Kilker, Shenandoah with bail was set at $75,000.00, straight cash and locked up in Schuylkill County Prison.
