Fire Crews at the Scene of a Multi-Alarm Fire in Ashland

Fire crews are at the scene fighting a multi-alarm fire in the 100 Block of Centre Street in Ashland.


At 3:39am, emergency personnel were dispatched to 100 West Centre Street, Ashland for a structure fire.

As the first crews and Chief Groody arrived on scene, flames were shooting from the roof of  one of the home and the fire quickly struck a 3rd Alarm calling in additional units from Schuylkill, Columbia, and Northumberland Counties as well as a tanker task force.

As of 5:00am, crews were still battling flames and at least 5 homes including M&M Sandwich Shop were destroyed.
