Shenandoah Valley Senior Awarded Most Valuable Student Scholarship through Elks National Foundation

A senior from the Shenandoah Valley School District has been awarded a "Most Valuable Student" scholarship through the Elks National Foundation.

Each year, the Elks National Foundation will award 500 four year scholarships to the highest-rated applications.  Male and female students compete separately and could earn scholarship money ranging from $1,000 to $12,500.

In 2019, Emily Demalis, a Shenandoah Valley Senior and the daughter of Anthony & Judy Demalis, was sponsored by Elks Lodge#1533, Frackville, and was awarded a $1,000 annual award scholarship.

Congratulations Emily!
