Over $10,000 in Drugs Seized During Search in West Mahanoy Township

A search led to the finding of over $10,000 worth of drugs in West Mahanoy Township on Thursday.

On Thursday, June 20, 2019, members of the Pennsylvania State Police, Schuylkill County District Attorney’s Office, Drug Task Force, and Frackville Borough Police Department executed a search and seizure warrant on a room located within Motel 6 which is located in West Mahanoy Township near Frackville.

Items of contraband were subsequently seized from the residence including, but not limited to, the following:
  • 1,665 glassine packets containing suspected fentanyl with an estimated street value of $9,990.00
  • Approximately 12 grams of methamphetamine with an estimated street value of $1,200.00
  • Quantities of suspected Oxycodone pills
  • Quantities of suspected LSD
  • Quantities of suspected marijuana
  • $2,341.00 of United States Currency
  • Two loaded firearms
As a result of the aforementioned search, Aaron W. Gray, 34, Frackville, was charged with Possession With the Intent to Deliver (Methamphetamine), Possession With the Intent to Deliver (Fentanyl), Possession With the Intent to Deliver (LSD), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Fentanyl), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Oxycodone), Possession of a Controlled Substance (LSD), Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana, Persons Not to Possess Firearms etc., and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Gray will be arraigned by Magisterial District Judge, the Honorable Christina Hale, Frackville, Pennsylvania.
