One Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash Monday Evening in Ashland


A man was injured Monday evening in a crash in Ashland.

Around 7:45pm, Monday, emergency personnel responded to the scene of a two vehicle crash with injuries at the intersection of Centre Street and 2nd Street.

Witnesses who saw that crash, say a white tow truck attempted to make a U-turn on Centre Street and crossed in front of a black pickup truck heading west on Centre Street.

The driver of the black pickup truck suffered an injury to his face in the crash, was treated by members of the Washington Ambulance at the scene.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene by A&F Towing and Oakland Auto.

Responding to the scene were the American Hose Co. , Washington Rescue, Washington Ambulance, and Ashland Police.

Two blocks of Centre Street were closed for about 45 minutes while the scene was cleared.
