Two Face Charges for Bringing Drugs, Pills, Knife, and Handgun to SCI-Frackville

Two people are facing charges after they attempted to bring numerous items of contraband into SCI-Frackville.


According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, on Sunday, September 1st, 2019, troopers were called to the SCI-Frackville in reference to visitors who brought illegal items to the prison.

Police say Jasmine London, 23, of Philadelphia had 4 small bundles of K2 sythentic marijuana, 6 Xanax prescription pill in an unmarked vial, and small vial of marijuana.

Tykeia Pew, 33, of Norristown, had in her possession a small bag of marijuana and a butterfly folding knife.

A search of their vehicle a 2013 Ford C-Max, which was rented and driven by Pew, led to the finding of a 9mm SCCY handgun and a marijuana grinder.

Both were charged with felony counts of contraband, as well as misdemeanor charges for drug possession.
