Just before 9:00pm, emergency personnel were dispatched to the area near the intersection of Fountain Street (Route 61) and West Pine Street, Butler Township, near Frackville for a motor vehicle accident with rollover.
Englewood Fire responded and was first on-scene finding the female driver out of the vehicle. Washington Ambulance and Schuylkill EMS also responded. Additional units were cancelled.
According to Butler Township Police on-scene, the driver was travelling west on Fountain Street, and while heading uphill toward the intersection, when she veered to the right, struck the embankment and turned the vehicle over onto her roof.
The driver was checked out by EMS but refused transport.
Frackville Police and A&F towing also assisted at the scene.
