State Police Investigating a Case of Animal Cruelty in Blythe Township

The Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville is investigating a case of animal cruelty in Blythe Township.


According to troopers, on Monday, March 23th, 2020, around 6:30pm, a motorist observed a decease brown and black female Pitbull's body discarded approximately 15 feet off the shoulder of Tumbling Run Road in Blythe Township near the township line near the Guers Dairy.

Police said the dog's body was in a pull off area with no residences in close proximity.

The dog's body appeared to have been there for several days.
