PennDOT has announced a long-term road closure of Route 309 in McAdoo for an ongoing Route 309 reconstruction project.
According to an announcement from PennDOT, the closures will be in place 24 hours a day beginning Tuesday, April 28th, 2020 between 8th and 9th Streets, in McAdoo, and move into 2 blocks stages to the south until November 5th, 2020.
Detours will be in place for truck traffic around the borough utilizing Interstate 81 at Exit 138 to PA 424 at Exit 141 to PA 309. Local deliveries will not prohibited.
Passenger vehicle detour will utilize Kelayres Road and Blaine Street.
