State Police Stop Burglary in Progress at Construction Site in North Manheim Township

The Pennsylvania State Police were able to stop a burglary in progress last week in North Manheim Township.


According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, Troopers received a report of a burglary in progress at an construction site near the intersection of the Gordon Nagle Traile and Red Horse Road in the North Manheim Township.

Police say an unknown male was observed inside the construction site via wireless surveillance cameras.

State Police and Pottsville Police responded to the location and took, James Reedy, 41, of Lykens into custody while he was attempting to flee the scene.

State Police filed Burglary Charges with Magisterial District Judge James Ferrier's office.
