According to Rush Township Police, on Sunday, April 26th, 2020, around 3:30pm, officers received a report of a Domestic in progress.
The female victim told police that Daniel Keach, 30, of Rush Township had assaulted her and attempted to strangle her during the dispute.
After the incident, the defendant was taken into custody at a house located in the 200 block of Lincoln Drive.
Keach was charges with Strangulation, Simple Assault, and Harassment.
Keach was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Platchko and was committed to the Schuylkill County Prison in lieu of $25,000.00 bail.
