According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, the crash occurred at the intersection of Route 895 and Route 183 in Wayne Township around 12:20pm, on Tuesday, July 28th, 2020.
Police say Shirley Koch, 79, of Pine Grove was traveling east on Route 895 was stopped at the a stop sign at the intersection.
Koch pulled out and attempted to make a left turn onto Route 183 when she struck a vehicle being driven by Roger Reichert, 58, of Auburn. Koch was not injured but Reichert was said to have suffered minor injuries in the crash.
Reichert was transported to an area hospital by Schuylkill EMS.
Assisting police at the scene were the Summit Station Fire Company, Schuylkill EMS, and Detweiler Towing.
