Mahanoy Plane Man Facing Charges After Threatening People with Gun on the Gold Star Highway

A Mahanoy Plane man is locked up in Schuylkill County Prison after threatening people with a firearm on the Gold Star Highway in Shenandoah.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, on Monday, August 3rd, 2020, around 10:55am, troopers responded to the Gold Star Highway in Shenandoah for a report of a man threatening two people with a firearm.

Robert Botham, 60, of Mahanoy Plane was taken into custody and transported to the Frackville barracks for processing.

Botham was arraigned on charges of Aggravated Assault, Terroristic Threats, recklessly endangering another person, possession of a controlled substance, and harassment and locked up in Schuylkill County Prison unable to post $50,000 straight cash bail.
