According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, the incident occurred on Saturday, August 8th, 2020 around 3:50am on Lakeside Avenue in Delano Township.
Police say troopers received a report of a disturbance at the home, and when officers arrived they found a man, later identified as Jonathan Fischer, 39, of Easton, swinging a pipe in the middle of the roadway.
Troopers gave verbal commands to Fischer and attempted to take him into custody as he swung and kicked at them.
Troopers were able to take Fischer into custody who appeared to be under the influence of narcotics. He was then transported to an area hospital for treatment.
Fischer was officially charged August 11th, 2020 with 6 counts of aggravated assault, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct.
