No Injuries Reported After Two-Vehicle Crash in Mahanoy Township on Sunday

No injuries were reported after a two-vehicle crash in Mahanoy Township on Sunday.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, the crash occurred on Sunday, August 2nd, 2020 around 10:37am.

Police say the crash occurred as a 16 year old female driver from Mahanoy City was traveling northbound on Water Company Road and stopped at a stop sign at the intersection with Morea Road.

As the driver attempted to cross Morea Road and enter Mahanoy City Road, she crossed into the path of William Mack, 34, of Barnesville.

Mack attempted to swerve but was unable to avoid the collision when the 16 year old struck the left front tire of Mack's vehicle.

The 16 year old's vehicle spun while Mack's vehicle came to a rest in a grassy area near the intersection.

Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts and no injuries were reported.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
