The crash occurred around 7:15am when a pickup truck and a car collided at the intersection of Route 61/Fountain Street and Academy Lane near North Schuylkill.
After the collision, the car came to a rest against a utility pole and the pickup went down a small embankment.
According to Butler Township Police, the driver of the truck was not injured but the driver of the car was taken to an area hospital with a facial injury.
The driver injured was reported to be a student at the school.
Responding to the scene were the Butler Township and Frackville Police along with the Lavelle and Englewood Fire Departments, and Washington Rescue and Ambulance.
