A Hazleton man was taken into custody early Sunday after he rolled vehicle near Mahanoy City.
According to the Mahanoy Township Police, on Sunday, October 4th, 2020, around 1:30am, officers were dispatched to the Vulcan Hill by the Interstate 81 off ramps for a motor vehicle accident with rollover.
When police arrived on scene, Anthony Colon, of Hazleton was found outside his vehicle, but showed signs of impairment.
Colon was taken into custody by police for suspicion of DUI, but he refused to take a blood test. Further investigation into Colon found that he also had a bench warrant in Luzerne County for failure to appear in court on firearms charges.
Colon was examined and cleared by EMS on-scene and locked up in Schuylkill County Prison.
