UPDATE: 7 Injured in Foster Township Crash Earlier This Month

Seven people including four children were injured in a two car crash in Foster Township in October.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, the crash occurred on October 12th, 2020 around 8:10pm on Sunbury Road/Route 901 in Foster Township near the Interstate 81 interchange.

Troopers say the two-vehicle crash occurred as Dale Yoder, 48, of Pottsville was traveling on Route 901 over the Interstate 81 overpass and proceeded to make a left turn on the Interstate 81 south ramp.

A second vehicle, driven by Mary Weiser, 29, of Saint Clair was traveling uphill towards the overpass when Yoder failed to see her and both their vehicles, a Nissan Frontier, and Ford Flex crashed head on.

Both vehicles sustained heavy front end damage.

Yoder suffered minor injuries in the crash but his passenger, Holly Yoder, 47, suffered serious injuries. and was transported to an area hospital via Frackville Ambulance.

Weiser and four children in her vehicle, all suffered minor injuries.  All were transported via Schuylkill EMS to an area hospital for evaluation. An addition passenger of Weiser's Thomas Peterson, 29, was not injured.

Assisting at the scene were Minersville Fire and Rescue, South Cass Fire, Yorkville Fire, Heckersville Fire, Schuylkill EMS and Frackville Ambulance.
