The allocation of the funds has been controversial within Schuylkill County since the summer.

Many have expressed concern with the way County of Schuylkill allocated $11 Million of the funds for county projects.

The Schuylkill County Chamber of Commerce also expressed concern on how the process for Small Businesses and Non-Profits had to apply, the short time frame to apply, and the way the information was disseminated.

Several Schuylkill County Fire Departments and small businesses also reached out to Skook News expressing concern after their applications were denied.

We will have more comment from others in a different story.
