The Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven have charged a man with DUI and other charges after a crash earlier this month in Norwegian Township.
According to Troopers, the crash occurred on December 3rd, 2020 around 5:45pm on Chamberlaine Avenue near Pottsville.
Police say Nathias Vengen, 25, of Saint Clair was under the influence of controlled substances and crashed his vehicle on Chamberlaine Avenue before fleeing the scene then entered a home on Mamies Avenue.
On Wednesday, December 23rd, 2020, State Police filed charges of Driving Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance, Careless Driving, and other traffic offenses.
