Three Injured in Gordon Nagle Trail Crash
According to Troopers, the crash took place on December 22nd, 2020 around 7:00pm on the Gordon Nagle Trail (Route 901) at the intersection with Red Horse Road in North Manheim Township.
Police report the crash occurred as Collin Warunek, 18, of Pottsville was travelling behind Hunter Coleman, 21, of Mahanoy City.
Coleman reportedly slowed to make a left turn and Warunek struck from behind.
Warunek, Coleman, and Coleman's passenger, Brionna Jones, 22, of Barnesville reportedly suffered minor injuries and were transported to an area hospital via Pottsville/Schuylkill Haven EMS.

One Injured After Being Entrapped in Washington Township Crash
According to Troopers, the crash took place on Tuesday, December 29th, 2020 around 9:15am on Route 895 in Washington Township.
Police report the crash occurred as Kimberly Umbenhauer, 38, of Pine Grove was traveling west and fell asleep.
Umbenhauer then crossed into the opposite lane and struck a mailbox before coming to a rest.
Umbenhauer's vehicle was disabled in the crash and had to be cut from the vehicle after being entrapped. She was said to have suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
Umbenhauer will be cited for the crash.

Driver Strikes Utility Pole in Wayne Township on Route 183
According to Troopers, the crash occurred on Route 183 around 10:45pm, on Saturday, December 26th, 2020.
Benjamin Dekle, 27, of Ooltewah, TN was reported to have been traveling south, crossed over into the opposite lane and struck a utility pole. Dekle's vehicle continued another 60 yards before coming to a stop.
Dekle will be cited for the crash.

Two Injured in Interstate 81 Crash in Mahanoy Township
According to Troopers, the crash occurred in the northbound lanes of Interstate 81 near mile marker 130.4.
John Stefanelli, 65, of West Pittson was traveling north when he veered onto the shoulder and attempted to steer back onto the road. He then overcompensated, crossed both lanes and struck a rock embankment.
Stefanelli along with his passenger, Janice Stefanelli, 63, were reported as suffered minor injuries but were treated at the scene.
The driver was cited for the crash.
