Schuylkill County Crash Log - 01/15/2021

No Injuries Reported in Crash near Cressona
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, the crash occurred on Wednesday, January 13th, 2021 around 2:30pm on Chestnut Street in North Manheim Township.
Police say Kathleen Breslin, 49, of Pottsville was attempting to make a right turn onto Route 183 south when she struck a utility pole. Breslin's Nissan Sentra sustained disabling front end damage and also caused minor damage to the utility police.
No injuries were reported and Moyer's Towing assisted as the scene.

Three-Vehicle Crash in Porter Township
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, the crash occurred on Thursday, January 14th, 2021 on East Grand Avenue in Porter Township just west of Tremont Avenue.
Troopers say Maria Strouse, 49, of Port Carbon, and Andrew Kinka, 60, of Pine Grove were stopped in separate vehicles in the travel lane waiting for another vehicle to make a left turn.
Melissa Morgan, 43, of Tower City was traveling behind and failed to stop in time and struck the rear of Strouses vehicle which then pushed into Kinka's vehicle.
Morgan's vehicle and Strouse's vehicles sustained disalbing damage while Kina's sustained minor.
No injuries were reported with Whelski's Towing assisting with towing of the two vehicles.
Muir Fire Department also assisted at the scene.

Deer to Blame for Crash in Walker Township
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, the crash occurred on Tuesday, January 12th, 2021 around 12:00pm
Troopers say John Kotchmar, 53, of Tamaqua was traveling on Wildcat Road in Walker Township when he swerved to avoid a deer and traveled off the roadway and struck a tree.
Kotchmar's Chevrolet Silverado sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
No injuries were reported.

Driver Hits Rock on Darkwater Road in New Castle Township
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, the crash occurred on Thursday, January 14th, 2021 around 10:50am on Darkwater Road in New Castle Township.
Police say Matthew Daniels, 31, of Pottsville struck a large rock with his Subaru WRX causing disabling damage.
Daniels was not injured in the crash.
