In 2019, Yuengling celebrated their 190th Anniversary with a concert and day of events that brought thousands of people to the city of Pottsville that July. The event featured local bands like the Boys Upstairs, Toolshed Jack, Hooligan, with headline act, Better than Ezra.
After the success of 2019, America's Oldest Brewery attempted make the Summer Celebration an annual event and scheduled the 2020 Celebration for July 11th, 2020. Not long after making the announcement, COVID struck and the event was cancelled.
Fast forward a year later and Yuengling is working to bring the event back for this Summer.
This past Wednesday, Yuengling announced along with the Pottsville Area Development Corporation this Summer's event via Facebook asking everyone to "Save the Date" for the Stars and Stripes Summer Celebration which will be held on July 10th, 2021.
No other details were released for the event other than that the day long event will begin at 11:00am and run until 10:00pm.
