Frackville Woman Injured, Arrested for DUI After Rollover Crash on Route 61


A woman was arrested overnight after rolling her vehicle on Route 61.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, around 1:45am, Wednesday, State Trooper Lynn was on patrol and came upon a single vehicle rollover crash involving a Ford Escape on Route 61 north between Saint Clair and Frackville.

The vehicle was found on it's side blocking both lanes of traffic and the driver still in the vehicle.

Trooper Lynn was able to get the driver, Kori Meyer, 19, of Frackville, out of the vehicle before fire personnel arrived.

Meyer was transported to the hospital by Pottsville EMS.

State Police investigated the crash and placed Meyer under arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Route 61 northbound was closed for a short period of time while the scene was cleared.
