State Police Investigating Hit and Run in Ringtown

The Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville are investigating a hit and run that occurred in Ringtown last month.

According to troopers, the incident occurred on February 19th, 2021 around 8:50pm on West Apple Street in the borough near the intersection with Center Street.

Troopers said a Volkwagen Passat was legally parked on West Apple Street and was struck by another vehicle.  The Volkswagen sustained damage to the drive side front fender.

The other vehicle involved fled the scene and failed to report the accident.

State Police say the suspect vehicle may be white in color and should have minor damage to the passenger side.
