The victim from a fatal RV fire near Tamaqua Wednesday evening has been identified.
Around 7:00pm, Wednesday, emergency personnel were dispatched to 605 Old 209 Road, in Newkirk, Schuylkill Township, for a fully involved RV Fire.
A short time later, the Schuylkill County Coroner's office was called to the scene after the body of Michael Farber, 56, was found by firefighters inside the burned RV. The RV was parked on property owned by Farber.
Deputy Coroner Al Barnes pronounced Farber dead at the scene.
Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshals were at the scene Wednesday night and are expected back at the scene Thursday to investigate a cause.
A virtual autopsy will be done as well.
