Authorities have identified the victim in a fatal Route 61 crash near Saint Clair on Wednesday.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, the crash occurred around 2:20pm on Route 61 at the intersection with Darkwater Road in New Castle Township.
Troopers say the crash occurred as Jessica Andrucheck, 35, of Minersville was attempting to make a left turn on Route 61 northbound from Darkwater Road.
Andrucheck, driving a Volkswagen Golf, reportedly pulled out into the path of Arizona Rentschler, 18, of Schuylkill Haven, driving a Volkswagen Jetta.
Andrucheck was pronounced at the scene of the crash by Schuylkill County Deputy Coroner Katherine Schuck.
Rentschler was also injured and transported to an area hospital by Pottsville/Schuylkill Haven EMS.
