State Police Report on Recent Retail Thefts

The Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven released information on reports from various retail thefts that occurred recently.

Suspect Drops Bank Card While Stealing Clothes from Boscovs

State Police say on March 21st, 2021, around 1:00pm, Troopers responded to Boscovs at the Fairlane Village Mall for a report of retail theft.

Prior to police arriving, the suspect fled on foot with over $100 in clothes from the store including 2 Puma Shirts, Nike Shorts, Nike Shirt, a Champion Hoodie, and Champion Sweatpants.

Inside the store, police learned that the suspect, Erik Klemow, 37, of Frackville dropped his bank card, with his name on it, as he was fleeing.

Troopers continue to investigate the incident.

Items Stolen from Dollar General in the Cressona Mall

Troopers said they were dispatched around 7:30pm, on March 15th, 2021 for a report of retail theft. Through an investigation, it was learned that Sandra Davis, 55, of Auburn stolen a Picture Frame and Garden Gnome.  The total of the items stolen was $9.00.  

Charges were filed again Davis.

Multiple Items Stolen from Dollar General in Hegins Township

Police say they responded to retail theft report on March 19th, 2021 around 12:30pm.  Troopers say an unknown suspect stolen various items that included a Tzumi Digital Alarm Clock, Various Makeup, American Flag Decal, a mini Easter Bunny, and a Busy Bone Dog Treat.

The theft is still under investigation.
