Woman Injured in Rollover Crash in Foster Township

A woman from Pottsville was injured early Sunday morning in a crash.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, on Sunday, April 25th, 2021, around 3:30am, Krista Cromyak, 47, of Pottsville was traveling south on Route 901 when she fell asleep at the wheel in the area of Chapel Road in Foster Township.

Cromyak's GM Envoy went off the right side of the roadway, struck a tree, overturning the vehicle onto it's roof in the area of the Foster Township Municipal Building.

Cromyak was reported to have suffered minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital via Minersville EMS.  Welskey's Towing removed the vehicle from the scene.

She will be cited for the crash.

Assisting at the scene were fire departments from Yorkville, Minersville, and Cass Township.
