Police said the incident occurred in the 900 block of West Coal Street around 4:45pm and involved a 17 year old that was struck in the back of the head with handgun.
The victim was transported to an area hospital by Shenandoah EMS.
One juvenile was taken into custody and charged so far but police are looking for anyone else who may have witnessed the incident.
