Shenandoah Valley Seniors Unveil 2021 Mural

For almost three decades Shenandoah Valley graduating seniors were given the opportunity to have a class mural painted on a hallway wall that depicted a quote that they selected and signed by each member of the senior class.

This year the students were informed that the painting of the mural will again be permitted after being cancelled in 2020.

The class quote selected was “What seems like the end is really the beginning.” The mural also lists the class flower as the white daisy, the class colors baby blue and white, and the class song “Good Ole Days” by Kesha.

Also listed was Homecoming Queen Skyelee McGowan, Prom King Elijah Maldonado, and Lena Bell, as Prom Queen and Female Scholar Athlete.

Shown in photo L-R are the students who painted the mural Elijah MalDonado & Sophie Jones, and SV Art Teacher Kim Roulin who coordinated the project.
