A woman was reportedly shot on Wednesday afternoon in Port Carbon.
According to sources, just after 1:00pm on Wednesday, a woman walked into the Port Carbon Borough Hall Building and said she had been shot.
Port Carbon Police along with surrounding law enforcement agencies including the Pennsylvania State Police responded and closed off the area of 1st Street where a white SUV was parked.
The woman was reportedly flown to an area hospital for her injuries and another person was in custody.
Police remain at the scene.
