Burglar Enters New Philadelphia Apartment through Hole in Wall

The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a burglary in New Philadelphia.

According to Trooper Trent Karaman, the incident occurred on Thursday, September 16th, 2021.

The victim told police that around 5:50am, he left his apartment on Water Street home and returned around 7:00pm to find a large hole in his wall. 

It was determined that the suspect gained access to a neighboring apartment that was abandoned due to fire damage and cut hole in the wall to the apartment.

The victim told police that 4 rubber banded bundles of $1 bills, totaling $200 was stolen.
