The Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville have released additional details on the fatal crash that occurred on an Interstate 81 on ramp in Schuylkill County.
According to Troopers, the crash occurred around 5:10pm, Saturday on the on-ramp to Interstate 81 southbound from Route 309 in Kline Township near McAdoo.
Police say a tractor trailer, driven by Satnam Singh, 24, of South Richmond Hill, NY, was traveling on the on ramp when he failed to negotiate a left curve, striking a guide and an embankment overturning the rig onto it's passenger side.
Singh sustained minor injuries in the crash and was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital in Hazleton via McAdoo Ambulance.
Singh's passenger, who was only identified as a male from Greenwood, IN sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
State Police say the crash is still under investigation.
