Ashland Prepares for an Olde Fashioned Christmas

On Sunday, November 21st, 2021, volunteers spent their Sunday decorating the Ashland Christmas Tree.

The 2021 tree was donated to the Ashland Rotary by the Bill Rodgers Family from Long View Terrace in Butler Township.

The tree was transported and set upright on Saturday, November 20th, 2021 by PPL and on Sunday, the Rotary and members of the Washington Hook and Ladder added the star and lights.

The tree was lit on Thanksgiving but an official tree lighting will be held on Saturday, December 4th, 2021 around 3:15pm, at the end of the Santa Parade.

Later in the day, there will be free horse drawn carriage ride, crafting, readings of Twas' the Night Before Christmas, as well as hot dogs, popcorn, and hot coach
