Gary Geiger
, 60, of Pottsville, passed away on Thursday at home.

Born on November 15, 1960 in Pottsville, he was a son of the late Earl A. Geiger, Sr. and the late Catherine C. Dullard Geiger, who passed away in September. He was a 1978 graduate of Pottsville High School. He was employed by Jetson Direct Mail/JDM, Hamburg, before retiring.

Gary had an unconditional love for animals. He had three dogs that were his world, Buddy, Lovey and Pebbles.

He was a large fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, the Philadelphia Phillies and Penn State. He also enjoyed playing on local softball teams.

He cared very much for his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Dale Geiger, in 1971, and Earl A. Geiger, Jr., in 2006.

Gary is survived by his four remaining siblings, Ronald Geiger, Sr., Schuylkill Haven, Susan Geiger, Pottsville, Brenda Comishock, New Ringgold, and Daryl Geiger, Dowdentown; nieces and nephews.

He is also survived by two maternal aunts, Ethel Chistakoff, Branchdale, and Patricia Ditzler, Pottsville; two paternal aunts, Irene Geiger, Orwigsburg, and Helen Wingle, Schuylkill Haven.

The family will accept visitors at Dutcavich Funeral Home, 200 Sunbury Street, Minersville, on Saturday from 6:00 A.M. Visitation will end promptly at 10:15 A.M. when procession will form. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. in St. Patrick Church, 319 Mahantongo Street, Pottsville. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Hillside, Pottsville.

Kenneth R. Kuhns
, husband, father, grandfather, 76 years of age, of Spirit Court New Ringgold, Pennsylvania died on Monday, November 8, 2021, at Prospect Park Health & Rehabilitation Center in Prospect Park, Pennsylvania.

Born Tuesday, August 14, 1945 in Allentown the son of the late Earl K., and Rachel (Tedesco) Kuhns. Kenneth was also predeceased by; daughter, Kimberly Ann Kuhns 1970; sons, Keith Allen Kuhns 2013, Christopher M. Kuhns 2019; brother, Dale Kuhns.

Surviving are; his wife of 53 years, Barbara Ruth (Nunemacher) Kuhns; sons, Kenneth R. Kuhns, Jr. and his wife Danielle, Matthew Kuhns and his wife Alison, brother, Dennis Kuhns and his wife Debbie, sister, Tina Colello and her husband Vince; grandchildren, Chad, Megan, Devin, Hadyn, Kaylin; great grandchildren, Payton, Ryker; sister-in-law, Patricia Kuhns.

Kenneth served honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He drove truck all his working life, and took immense pride in the care of his rigs. Kenneth was an avid outdoorsman who liked to hunt, fish, and camping.
