An Old Forge man remains locked up in Schuylkill County Prison after he went on a window smashing spree in North Manheim Township earlier this week.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, this incident began on Tuesday, December 14th, 2021, around 6:00am, Ryan Tomczyk, 35, of Old Forge entered the parking lot of Green Valley Skilled Nursing on Matthew Lane just off the Gordon Nagle Trail near Pottsville.
Police say Tomczyk smashed the windows of 7 vehicles in the parking lot with rock and threw a rock through the main entrance of the nursing facility before fleeing.
Tomczyk was apprehended not far away along the Gordon Nagle Trail. He was charged with numerous counts of Criminal Mischief and Disorderly conduct, arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Richard P. Cashman and locked up in Schuylkill County Prison.
