Helen R Grose
, age 92, of Valley View, passed away Friday, December 17, 2021 at Lehigh Valley Hospital - E Norwegian, Pottsville.

She was born on Thursday, March 7, 1929, in Harrisburg, a daughter of the late Norman E Lubold and the late Beulah M (Rowe) Lubold.

Helen was a salesperson at Boscov's, St. Clair, prior to her retirement.

She was a member of the Church of God, Valley View.

Helen enjoyed sewing, puzzle books, reading the bible, and spending time with her family.

Her husband, Walter J Grose, passed away in 2003. She was also preceded in death by her parents; by two sons, Timothy Grose and Jeffery Grose, a daughter, Diane Grose, and six siblings.

She is survived by three sons, William Grose and his wife Gloria of Johnstown, Bradley Grose of Fountain, and Matthew Grose and his wife Shirley of Ashland; a daughter, Debra Domboski of Ashland; twelve grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Kyle Roth officiating.

A viewing will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Burial will be in the Church of God Cemetery, Weishample.

Richard Joseph McIntyre, 69, of Lehighton, PA passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, in Salisbury Township, PA. He was the husband of Brenda (Hunsicker) McIntyre to whom he was married 29 years in June. 

Born in Phillipsburg, NJ on December 25, 1951, Richard was a son of the late Ralph and Irene (Wismer) McIntyre. A 1970 graduate of Palisades High School in Kintnersville, he was an independent truck driver who leased his own truck to A. L. Smith Trucking Company. Richard loved to spend time with family, friends, and his two German Shepherds. He was a practical joker who enjoyed telling Dad jokes. A classic muscle car enthusiast, Richard and Brenda owned a 1973 Roadrunner and a 1973 Charger that they rebuilt together. In his spare time, he went hunting, watched baseball, bowled, listened to country music, went four wheeling with his grandkids, and he and Brenda attended numerous car shows and cruises. 

In addition to his wife, Brenda, Richard is survived by sons, Michael McIntyre of Sellersville, PA and Jeff McIntyre and his wife Jackie of Allentown, PA; daughters, Jamie Kubasta and her husband Keith of Erie, Colorado and Alyssa DeNardo of Lehighton; grandchildren, Kayla McIntyre, Nick McIntyre, Haley McIntyre, and Tyler McIntyre; brother, Thomas McIntyre of Ottsville, PA; and several nephews and nieces. 

He was predeceased by his sister, Janet Nemeth. Services will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at the Zizelmann-Gulla Funeral Home, 500 East Broad Street, Tamaqua, PA. Call 10 – 11 AM on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Dennis R. Neff, 78 of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania died on Friday, December 17, 2021, at home.

Born Tuesday, November 30, 1943 in Coaldale, Pennsylvania the son of the late Earl W., and Eleanor L. (Sneddon) Neff. Dennis was also predeceased by; sisters, Dianne Hewitt; brother, Barry Neff.

Surviving are; friend, Brian Haas; and extended family.

A 1963 Tamaqua High School graduate, Dennis was an accomplished artist.

Janet I. Jancewicz
, beloved mother, GG, 83 years of age, Railroad Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2021, at St. Luke's Stroudsburg Campus from complications of Covid - 19.

Born Thursday, November 10, 1938 in Lehighton, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Norman, and Margaret (Xander) Nothstein. Janet was also predeceased by; son, Jason Houtz; brother, Willard Nothstein.

Surviving are; daughters, Kathy Hollrigl wife of Allen of White Haven, Lori A. Becker wife of Brett of Bethlehem, Jody D. Mickey wife of John of Tamaqua; son, Terry Houtz and his wife Lisa of Havre De. Grace, MD.; grandchildren, Matthew, Daniel, Justin, Jeremy, Melissa, Christy, Jennifer, Bruce; great grandchildren, Sara, Julia, Malin.

A tireless worker, Janet had worked in the textile Industry, cooked at the Beacon Restaurant, and for Hometown Nursing Home. She was a strong presence, Janet enjoyed Auto Auctions, was a vivacious dancer, and Elvis Presley fan. Family was paramount to her life, planning for holiday get togethers, spoiling her children, and grandchildren brought great pride, and satisfaction.

Elizabeth Ann Ringo Cawthon, 73, of Ashland PA passed away December 15, 2021 at Geisinger St. Lukes of Orwigsburg Pa surrounded by her family.
 
Born in Coaldale PA on October 11, 1948 to Anna Hornung and Phillip Rapant whom both preceded her in death.

Beth graduated from Immaculate Heart High School in 1966. then graduating from McCanns with a business degree, But her education didn't stop there. Beth later graduated from Bloomsburg University with a bachelors degree of

Science in Nursing. Throughout her medical career she worked for Geisinger and the Ashland Hospital. Furthering herself as an instructor for upcoming LPNs and RNs at Schuylkill County Technology Center where also continued to teach clinical classes in Pottsville until her retirement.

Beth was very passionate about teaching and preparing her students for their future. She loved being in medical field, it was important to her. In addition to her parents, Beth is preceded in death by a husband, Robert Cawthon. Surviving are her son Jeff Cawthon, grandchildren Abby Cawthon, Noah Cawthon and Trevor Cawthon, a brother Phillip Rapant Jr, sisiter in law Jane, a nephew Phillip Rapant III, cousins, aunts and her two best friends Mary Anne Loeper and Kay Collier. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held Thursday, Dec. 23,2021 at 11:00 AM in St. Charles Borromeo Church, Ashland, PA. Rev. Brian Miller officiating. Interment at the convenience of the family. Visitation Thursday 9:30-11:00 A.M. from St. Charles Borromeo Church. Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home, Ashland , Charles Heizenroth III, Supervisor.
