The Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven is investigating the theft of a vehicle outside a distribution center on Monday evening.
According to Police, the incident occurred around 9:40pm, on January 10th, 2022 outside the Big Lots Distribution Center on Rausch Creek Road in Tremont Township.
State Police say a man went outside and started his vehicle in the parking lot, then returned inside.
Within the 10 minutes that the vehicle was running unattended, someone stole the vehicle.
An investigation by Troopers found that the suspect drove a vehicle that was reported in State Police at Hamburg jurisdiction, parked next to the running vehicle, got in through the unlocked doors, and drove away.
The stolen vehicle is described as a gray Hyundai Kona.
